      Summary

      The purpose of this meeting is to spur discussion of Tropical Americas and Caribbean regional tropical cyclone observing, modeling, and forecasting in the context of the Global Ocean Observing System (GOOS).  
       
      The meeting will be held in the context of the GOOS Caribbean Regional Alliance (IOCARIBE-GOOS) and the Tropical Cyclone Exemplar, which is part of the GOOS Ocean Observing Co-Design Programme. Key participants include leadership from the Tropical Cyclone Exemplar under the IOCARIBE-GOOS, TAC-OOFS, and GOOS, as well as the Caribbean Institute for Meteorology and Hydrology (CIMH).
